Fall is a wonderful time in Tofino and Clayoquo Sound

Morning Mist, Orcas, Bears, Dolphins, Flowers, Chanterelles, Kayaking, Full Moons
Tofino Autumn is a continuation of days on the beach, in the surf, on the trails, observing wildlife and having fun. We caught up to orcas in the Tofino Browning Passage Inlet, bears along the shorelines, dolphins porpoising in the ocean. We also headed deep into Clayoquot Sound and camped: exploring the rivers in our kayaks, sitting up at night by the fire and drinking coffee early in the morning watching the sun rise over the mountains. We also were lucky enough to find chanterelle mushrooms for dinner. And then the full harvest moon! What a beautiful time of year to be in Tofino and Clayoquot Sound.
