South Beach Trail Part 2
Location: On the Wickaninnish Beach Road
After the first section of the South Beach Trail, the second part continues as a path, becomes a boardwalk later down the trail, and then stairs. All-terrain wheelchairs are available at The Wickaninnish Centre. Inquire about the distance you can travel before you reach stairs - the Wick Centre staff will be able to give you a heads up about what areas you can access via wheelchair.

Once the path becomes a boardwalk the trail begins to head down to the ocean. The stairs are the final descent to a wonderful beach that is a great place to picnic, beachcomb and watch the waves. This is one of my favourite beaches.

Keep right to continue on the South Beach Trail. which continues as a path.

The South Beach Trail turns into a wide boardwalk, then descends many stairs to the beach.
