We hike down Schooner Trail in Pacific Rim National Park to Schooner Beach.
Bird watchers are there with big scopes, it's low tide so we walk way up the beach.
Peaking into tide pools, marvelling at all the driftwood, we find a basket and hold an impromtu beach cleanup.
Water bottles, tin cans, foreign bottles, a plastic buoy and a shoe are part of the haul.
