10 Day Kayaking Safety Tips1. Check the weather forecast and tide changes.2. Wear a personal flotation device at all times. 3. Bring a hat, sunglasses - remember to use them. 4. Know where you are going and have a plan. 5. Tell someone else where you are going and for how long. 6. Carry a dry bag with a change of clothing, matches, cell phone, food, etc. 7. Carry a pump, extra paddle, paddle float, and know how to do a wet exit. 8. Have lots of water or other liquid to drink and a snack. 9.
